Outdoor Kitchen 34tbok
Hello,
Our 2013 sabre 34tbok was delivered last week and we love it! It is beautiful...I must say the internet photos did not do it justice.
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can mount a grill to the bumper with this unit? We love the outdoor kitchen, however we tend to do more cooking with a grill vs the cook top stove. Also, is there more than one lp gas hookup with quick connect or is there a way to hook up a grill and stove top burner at the same time.
Last question... Is anyone else finding that the outdoor kitchens are a bit high? Any solutions? I was wondering about some sort of portable light weight platform? Any ideas welcome! Thank you!

I am thinking about replacing the 2 burner stove with a grill instead .
I wouldn't mount a grill to the bumper unless it was removable for transportation .
There is only one hookup . You could tee it .
what do you mean the lights are to high ? If you mean to high to reach mine has a switch on the lower left of the kitchen that turns on the upper interior light as well as the outside light left of the outside kitchen .
I can take pics tomorrow .

Hello, and Welcome. What kind of camper is is? You gave a model number, but what is the brand name? Forrest River has 20 plus brands, might be helpful to know.

We ordered the bigger tires so the whole kitchen seems high! (Or maybe I'm too short)
I will look for the light switch tomorrow! Thanks also for the advice on the grill. I have noticed a bumper mount on other models... I believe the mounts stays but the grill is removed for transportation. I'm just not sure if you can order a bumper mount for any camper and also not sure what type of grill to install?

Owners,
I wanted to chime in on the grill. I want you to be happy Sabre owners. Here is some information.
1. There is a company that makes a bumper mounted swing out type unit to set a grill on. I will get you the information on how you can order this item. I will post it as soon as I can.
2. We have tried grills. If the grill is mounted to the unit and the unit is not level the cooking grease doesn't exit the grill properly and then a fire issue is present. So please be careful.
3. Most grills of any size take up more BTUs (gas supply) than you can get from the gas lines. Remember you are on the backside of the regulator. Small grills do work, but you can't go much larger than a "roadtrip" style grill.
I will let you know on the swing out bracket when I get the information.
(sorry for spelling mistakes)

S-Sam I have a rv q previously mounted on my flagstaff that I use.
Its very small and we use it for warming or cooking hot dogs and stuff.
We don't really like or have the need for the 2 burner cook stove.
That's why I'm considering removing it off the slide out track and installing the small rv q.

Our Tracer came with a bumper mounted grill for the outdoor kitchen. The grill comes off for transit.

Yes, the outside kitchen can be kind of high, depending on where you're parked. Two weeks ago, it was really, really high because the back of our site sloped and we had to have a bunch of lego's under the stab jacks. Last weekend it was great! We didn't have to use ANY lego's to level at all and everything was within my reach, and I'm 5'0". My solution?? Ask my DH to reach something for me or just bring my step stool outside. I have one like this....and we're thinking of getting another one to keep outside.

Thanks everyone for your responses. SabreSam or anyone else, I would love the information on the bumper/ swing out mount. Any ideas on type of grill to use with this grill mount?
