Palomino Puma 253FBS

I'm considering a Puma 253 FBS fifth wheel to replace a travel trailer. I'd like to hear comments from 253FBS owners about their experiences with the unit and how well it has met their expectations.
Thanks!
Jeff L.

We purchased a very lightly used 2013 and it has met every expectation. Good solid unit with lots of storage and comfort, minus the rear jack-knifa sofa which is first on hit list to replace. The size of the 253 fits us, wife & I and occasional grand-baby, just right and has a more roomy feel than expected. Pulls well, as a 5th wheel should. It is not an ultra light but we opted for the metal sided vs. fiberglass. I like the Old School. This is our 3rd 5th wheel and this one will be around for the long haul.

We purchased ours new in '05 and have used it a lot. We really enjoyed ours. We recently did a slide remodel and turned it into a bunk house area witch works really well for us. We only used it 3 times since we finished the remodel and came across a real good deal on a great 2011 sabre 32BHOK so ours is up for sale. We have had real good success with ours. This little camper has plenty of storage in and out. Click image for larger version
