Just wandering how that dodge handles the that 31 foot. Just bought my 31 rets-6 and will be bringing it home in march or april. I think my 2500 dodge diesel will handle it but just looking to see how yours does.
Actually, my 31RKTS is 34' long, don't let the model numbers fool you.
My Cummins does a great job towing it. I can get 11-13 mpg. I rarely use the TOW MODE, but always have the jake brake, I mean exhaust brake turned on.
Good luck with your Sabre.

Hello,
Just bought my first 5th wheel. 2012 Sabre 291bhts. I towed it from Iowa back to Montana with no problems. I did loose the spare tire cover somewhere. Anyone else have this model? I have been looking at those king pin stabilizers anybody have any input? Thanks

Don't waste your time and money on a king pin stabilizer.

Look into an item such as steady fast jack stabilizers
or other similar products.

Did you buy at Cheyenne? What was your experience like?

By the way you can do a search on here about camper jack stabilizers you'll find lots to read.

Hello, and thanks. My experience with Cheyenne was a postive one. The price was right and everyone was friendly.

yes ours to ! we live close by so I had to ask !
besides the fact that you have to haul and store that big and bulky king pin stabilizer it really has very little affect on the movement in the trailer and there WILL be movement !
i mad my own stabilizers out of cargo bar locks for a semi trailer . you can buy them all ready done as well.
heres a few pics of mine installed and they work great by the way .
others on here also have there versions of this .

Wow! looks good. I guess I will have to do some more research. Thanks for the info. I still have a few months before the weather clears here. But I cannot wait for our first trip.
