Picking Up Columbus 365 in a couple hours

I thought someone posted a PDF with a PDI checklist, but I can't find it. Need it in a couple hours. Can someone post a link? Thanks.

Remember when pulling out of dealer's lot, to drive 20 miles or so then pull over someplace safe and check tires, hubs, 5th wheel, 7pin plug, etc.

Do this at regular rest stops afterwards. Just visual checks for something gone wrong, loose, etc.

Then camp close to dealer and try everything out. It will be a short trip back to dealer if you need serious repairs. Little repairs can be done at a different dealer if you chose.

Enjoy and drive safe. You will be nervous as it's a new RV.

I think one thing not on the PDI list is to check the running lights. We picked ours up last Friday and there was one marker light that wasn't even hooked up and a brake/turn signal that had a short in it at the junction box.

Good luck and have a blast!

Do ask the RV dealership to take you on a test drive with one of their techs giving tips as you go. This was the most awesomeest thing my dealer did for me!

This was #1 on my list. Have been pulling bumper pulls all my life. My last rig was a 31 Ft Bumper pull which will give me just about the same length behind, but it handles differently around corners and backing up. Need to learn a few tricks before heading for home.

Don't forget to get up on the roof....there's 'stuff' to check up there too!!

Good luck....and I'll second the idea to stop and check 'stuff' periodically.

Ok, I've now been at the dealer for 27 hours, no joke. We were scheduled to do everything at 9:00 yesterday morning. I slept in the Columbus last night. The paperwork was not ready after my wife took off for the morning. Then, they had not installed the change orders completely. If I hadn't gotten such a screaming deal, I would have walked. The good news is, I did my own PDI all last night. The list and everyone's input was great. This is a used coach, so I have to get everything on it the first time around because it is "as is". They sold 118 units at the Houston show two weeks ago and this place is a zoo and nobody seems happy. Thank goodness I brought the computer and have been able to work in their lounge.
