Puma 30DBSS hard to get stable

I bought a 2011 Puma 30DBSS last spring and was never able to get it very stable in any campsites all summer long. I am comparing the stability of this trailer with a 25' Jayco Travel trailer that I have been in many times and that trailer is much more stable. At one point I tightened the jacks too tight and bent one of them. Mid season I added some X-chocks wheel chocks and that helped the stability. It looks to me like the stab jacks installed are not very heavy so I am likely going to install some new heavier stab jacks before the next camping season.
Anyone else have the same problems and any suggestions on how to make it better?

We have a S

We have a 2011 Salem 30kqbss.Probably a similar size trailer to yours, and yes the jacks don't seem very stable compared to our old trailer.I think it has to do with the fact that the trailer is off the ground so high that the jacks are almost extended all the way when they hit the ground. This makes them very narrow causing them to lose there strength.I think I might try mounting them to a lower part of the frame seeing as the dealer has them mounted up as high as they can possibly get, this I don't know why as there is no danger of them catching on anything if they were lower.

We have a 2012 Sabre 32 QBTS that was not as stable as we wanted. Pretty common with travel railers over 30'. We added a third set of stabilizer jacks right in front of the tires. Made a huge difference. Very stable now.
