Purpose for Breaker for generator in Ac panel

Hi all

I have a 2012 Puma that is giving me a pile of electrical trouble. First, the GFCI circuit wasn't working. There was no continuity in the line from the 1st GFCI plug to the panel so I ran a new wire back to the box and all is well. Now the water heater isn't working. I have diagnosed a short in the line going back to the box so I will try rewiring that.

In the process of doing all of this, I have noticed a breaker labelled "generator" that has wires connected to it. Does anyone know what this breaker does and where the wires from it go?

Thanks

John

You are right. It actually says Gen which must mean general and not generator. Thanks.

Is it possible the line and load wires were backwards on the gfi receptacle?
