Quadra Step

Has anyone changed the steps on your Columbus 320 from the three step to the new four step?

I changed the steps on our 320RS to the 4 step a couple of weeks ago. Well worth the change. The grandbabies have a much easier time going in and out the camper. Better for me and the DW as well.

Was it just plug and play? Or did you have to drill new holes or anything?

I had the dealer install the 4 steps. I understand it was just unbolt and install the new 4 steps.

The 4 steps you had installed, are they Lippert steps or the ones from Elkhart Tool & Die? My Sabre has the radius three step and I want to go to a four step but it appears that Lippert Radius Quad step is "no longer available" per their web site. The Elkhart Tool & Die quad steps are not of the radius design.

Curious what you mean by the radius ones?

I had only found the Elkhart 4-steps ever. I didn't known Leippert made them, too.

The radius are curved not straight across!

The quad step was $237.20 plus one hour labor by the dealer.

We just picked up our unit last Friday. May 3. It had the 4 step installed already. We ask the dealer about 4 steps when we ordered. We saw the unit when it hit the dealers lot. It had the 4 step on it then. We like it much better. It makes getting in better. I would go for the extra step if you have the option.
