I don't know/haven't looked for connection but there is the small black wire (old school antenna) I found if I pull it in front of sound bar the reception greatly improves.
Yea many people complain their RV's have horrible radio reception. I use satellite radio to correct the problem. I think the best solution to radio reception is to install an external antenna.

I have an external antenna on the roof, how cad I get to it? I have two sound bars with the little black wires that Marconi left.

Is it a radio or TV antenna on your roof? The radio will be a short vertical antenna.
I've found the radio itself to be of marginal quality as even with the higher external antenna it cannot receive the same stations that I can in the truck. My "when I get around to it" plan is to upgrade the factory radio with a better quality aftermarket automotive unit.
