We modified our Columbus 340rk because my DW wanted to look out from her kitchen without looking at a ladder.. You would think an engineer could have told someone to put it where the window wasn't .
We'll see.. I hope not.. Only hit the roof twice a year to check it out and clean.. I carry a 6 footer to check the top of the slides for debris and use an extension ladder at home to get on top..
To me that ladder is just for show.
