Ok, 2013 Columbus and i checked mine today....... no baffle. it's a open cavity above the top of the frig. I'm going to make a baffle up using thin sheet metal.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out. Some here have replaced the fan with a double fan set up. Maybe your onto something. I've not had any trouble with cooling even in the hottest weather. I just want to get rid of the high pitched noise.

Just another thought, I don't believe flow rate has ever come up. Maybe Herk or one of the other Info Nerds can chime in. Just making a little fun of our friends on the forum.

You can get various cfm computer fans there not all the same.

Sometimes the way it is mounted can amplify the sound. Take a look at the existing fan and see if you can mount it between some rubber washers to isolate any vibration. It's a long shot, but may work.

Tried to remount with no change. It's in the fan,but I appreciate thought.
