I removed mine in the last camper- about 30 screws and 10 pcs and the recliners were getting installed. Great mod!

I removed the dinette from my SS2300 recently, not the U-Shaped one. If you type Remove/Exchange Dinette in the Search Bar, you will see plenty of threads on the topic...

Someone just posted about doing this a few days ago. Go up to the search field and do a search.

Removing U shaped dinette

We have a 270s where we removed the U shaped dinning table and benches. We installed side-by-side theater recliners, that my Wife found on Amazon (on sale)! This also has a central console where I installed a power outlet that also includes 2 USB ports. So running our laptops and charging our phone will be convenient.
Some things we checked before doing this work.
Important - I strongly recommend - disconnect the shore power and set the battery disconnect. If you need power, run an extension from a separate power source. Lot easier doing that then replacing fuses and/or the ATS
1.) Measure the space for width, length and depth
2.) Find a seating unit that you like and will fit in the dinette space.
3.) Since our dinette area is on the slide out, we go a weight measurement of what the dinette components (ours included a large table that had a center metal post pivot.
Compare that weight to the weight of the new seating unit. You don't want to add a lot of weight that may impact the slide operation.
4.) Before and during the dinette disassembly, take pictures. Even though we were not keeping the dining area components - pictures of how the wiring was laid out and attached help in the 'pre-install' of the new seating area.
5.) Take your time. Removing wood that is stabled with large connectors can snag clothing and skin.
To make sure I did not damage the walls/floor, I reused the same length screws - or if new ones were needed, matched the length. This prevented any accidents (holes through the exterior walls, etc.)
The above work took about 12 hours, working over 3 days, but this arrangement is more comfortable for us.
I've included a picture of the new seating area.
Best wishes -

I would also suggest: Measure your door and make sure any new seating you buy can fit through it!!!

We replaced the u shaped dinette in our 25FKS Micro Lite with a triple recliner couch about 2 months after we bought it new. Best decision ever. Bought the couch from recpro.com. All of their furniture breaks down into pieces small enough to go through a standard RV door.

We did exactly what you're referring to, except we also removed the couch from the slide. Moved the table to the corner where the couch was and bought 2 stools to sit on. We then put the recliners where the dinette was. My cousin built a 3 sided table to cover the outside access hatch and mounted it to the outside wall. Hubby put the outlet in the table and we are thrilled with the results.

Did you buy your power loveseat at a RV furniture dealer or just a regular loveseat?
