Residential refrigerator

I see it's an option in the 365rl- did they just add this? If so does anyone have a photo of this?

I ordered mine in January and it was not an option at that time.

Look for columbus 320 on rvtrader.com. Dodd Rv in Yorktown, VA has one.

Does it run from an inverter then? How long do they last on a battery?

Yes. Adding the residential refer option on the Columbus will include adding an inverter.

If I recall correctly, my dealer told me the residential refer could run for about 3 hours on a single 12v battery.

Not sure what Palomino is doing, but our Cedar Creek has a Residential Fridge - 2000W Inverter and 4x6-Volt Batteries. We have run this as long as 3 days without killing the batteries and the fridge still working. This was just a test in the backyard, so we were not running lights and such. We have boon docked without any major problems using the generator to top the batteries back off each day. We did replace the standard converter/charger with a Progressive Dynamics one.

Visited that dealer not too long ago and had a chance to be constantly sold on their lifetime free warranty during the visit as their main differentiating point. IMO it is a piece of crap that excludes most of the stuff that can and does break while touting the $$ savings you can realize if the things that Don't break...do break! For a list of WHAT is coverered...see here: NAE

Now ask yourself...are the sides covered, is the roof covered, is the structure of the coach covered, is the generator covered is the charging system and/or inverter covered, tires, wheels, axles, tranny, engine, alternator, lights, winshield etc. etc. etc.
Not worthless of course...but WAY less than I would want in the way of coverage and way over hyped.
This will be showing up at more dealers as it is sold by a third party as a differentiating product for dealers as in "....NO, I can't beat that price but then....THEY don't give you a LIFETIME WARRANTY like we do!"

BTW... I like Dodd RV and the people there. Just don't like this warranty hype about a product that is supposed to leave you warm & fuzzy but in reality will leave you high & dry on many typical problems.
Oh yeah...and you better not forget to have the trailer/coach serviced PROFESSIONALLY annually and send in your signed completion card or you could void your lifetime warranty. http://www.rvwarrantyforever.com/Con...e%20Coupon.pdf

I figured there be some fine print but jeez, that doesn't cover anything.
