RV5 king pin extender

Would installing a king pin extender on a Palomino Sabre alleviate the need for a slider hitch when towing with a short bed truck ?

I have a extended pin box on my cherokee and the slider. Thier has been 2 times I "had" to slide it back the last couple of times out . some of the older campground have narrow roads and you need to cut it hard to get in some of these sites.

We have a short bed and a Slider hitch. We have used it a couple of times just to be on the SAFE side of things and would recommend it to anyone with a shortbed truck. As we see it its better to be safe than to have a big dent in our bed and be sorry.

i have a step side short box with pull rite super glide hitch and took off extended pin and put short pin and works great. with long pin it would hit side of bed. with short pin it clears the bed and will 90 with no problem.
