Saber 34tbok ordered!!

Build order sent Oct 29th. Would it do any good calling the dealer or the factory in a few weeks to find out what our time line is? Obviously can't proceed to the next step in the loan process since we don't have a VIN yet.

U can ask your dealer what the build date schedule is looking like or see if they have an online date in a week or 2

Ours took 10 weeks, and our dealer was not helpful. They had it over a week and dint even know it. We were contacted by Jim Roberts a rep, days after Sabre received our order. He wanted to up sale some options we didn't pick, they ended up on it anyway. I kept his e-mail, and ended up getting more answers from him, than our dealer. He ended up giving us the vin number and told us it had been delivered. I think nour dealer was surprised that we knew it was there. It has taken another week before they were able to get it out of their parking lot so they can do their PDI. Still waiting, 12 weeks now.
Good luck and welcome. I have learned lots on this forum.

Congrats! We love our tbok and are finishing our second year with it. Camped about 120 nights total in it and it keeps getting better all the time. I agree with the others, it should be quick this time of year. Happy Campin!!

We ordered ours this time two years ago and was into the great white north by early January.

You will love your TBOK. We have spent over 70 nights in ours over two summers and can't wait for next summer.

Dealer emailed me today saying "sometime in December" for the finish date. Not sure I want to know the answer but how long are these campers on "the line"? If I were to guess probably not longer than a week.

Exciting late Christmas present maybe!!!

Although they do shut the plant down around the holidays i believe.

The walls are built a week ahead of the campers and then the camper is on the line for 2-3 days. I believe that you can request that your camper to through the PDI facility but that adds a week or so to the build time.

Otherwise, here are photos from the factory tour:

Is this a free service? That's all I have to do is ask the dealer or can I call the factory direct?

Waiting an extra week for the local PDI at the factory would be well worth it!
