Great Pics

-- wish I would have known that a third party pdi was available... just amazes me that the RV industry hasn't adopted quality standards anywhere close to what other industries have had to.

Thanks

This one ?
Foam and fiberglass insulation fills these voids.

yup, that one, the lower ones next to closet 'bump out' are fit tight, but higher ones seem all over?

f1100, were you able to see or learn anything about the construction/installation of the rear walls. Ive seen folks talk about how they are assembled a little different than the sidewalls (no styrofoam or insulation). The reason I ask is because I think I may have an issue with mine, just not for sure.

Thanks

Ray,
There was so much to see in a short amount of time but all walls had the same construction as well as the same insulation.

What kind of issue do you think u might have?

Well, first let me say that I have reached out to SabreSam who was very helpful in forwarding my concern to the warranty guy up at Sabre and we have exhanged some conversation also.

Background: I took delivery 12/13/2012 and my first documented concern for this is late january 2013 via email and phone call to the dealer.

If I walk up to the back wall (on the outside) and push on the wall, the whole exterior wall layer kinda flexes in and out (we're talkin' 1/8 - 1/4") as if the filon/luan layer is not really attached to the structure. The surface is not soft or bubbly, just more flexible than I assume it should be. The explanation that I've been given is that the rear wall construction is the filon laminated to the luan backer, all of which is glued to the wall frame, with the interior paneling attached to the inside (with no styrofoam or insulation like the other walls have). I know for a fact where at least one vertical structure member is under the window and from the outside there seems to be no adhesion of the exterior layer to the structure in that spot.

Can anyone explain the 3rd party PDI Inspection? If I end up buying the sabre it will have to be ordered and this may help with problems before delivery.

We we're told to have our dealer request the third party pdi to the factory.
Now this may slow the delivery date of your trailer as well.
As they have factory trailers lined up for weeks, so keep this in mind.
