This crack is about 3 inches long. Next to it is a factory relief joint I think. I haven't had this fixed yet, but will soon in case it happens a second time. Thoughts??

So far just talked to a local dealer that did some warranty work and my dealer, RV Wholesalers... Hence a different dealer doing the work. I will email the pics to the warranty guy at rvw and ask him to forward it on to Gary, with myself cc'd.

While I know some will disagree with me but that trailer is almost the same trailer as my crusader 355BHQ and my expansion joint is right at the corner of the slide.

It also makes lots of noises behind the fiberglass when loading and unloading from the truck.

I know that things need to flex but when I hook up it always scares me listening to it creek.

Sorry for you guys who are having issues. Hope the factory gets it right for you.

BTW does anyone who has a 36qbXX know what size frame height they have?

Dang guys (pirate and jt), thats rough!
I havent noticed anything on mine but, its only been moved about 1/2 dozen times since its on a permanant site right now.
My joint is about 18"or so rearward of the front of the slide.

We've actually been having pretty good luck with our camper since the first week, other than the ok vent problem and one plumbing connector leak.
Wish you both the best!!

Here's a pic showing my joint

New floor, reframe front window and some minor fixes, turn around was about 5 weeks but that was in October. Not a huge production month. Jan - Feb time frame may be busy with new model construction.

My dealer found a crack in the fiberglass in the bottom left corner of the front slide opening. It's on the body of the camper not the slide itself. It's just beside where the yellow stickers are on the unit, they fixed the crack and after moving it around the shop it came right back. The factory said it would have to come back to them to see what's causing it to keep cracking. There are a few other issues they will fix at the factory as well. One is where my bedroom slide came in the drawers under the bed rubbed against the dresser and made a large indention and rub the finish off the drawer. They will replace the drawer. Also the window at my dinette is messed up. I have the frameless windows. There is a 1/4" gap at the top of the 2 windows and they touch at the bottom. So they don't open and close right. Dealer says they will replace these at the factory.

They say for me to camp in it and after camping season to drop it off at the dealer and they will send it to the factory for repair, Unless the crack gets bigger in which case I will have to send it back sooner.

For you guys that's sent yours back, what's the turn around time for repair? If I send it first week of January, I hope I have it back by March for our Disney World Trip.

Here is a picture where my seam is. The bottom left corner of the hole the slide goes in is where mine is cracked. About where the white sticker is in the picture. My dealer fixed it and it was about 5 inches long. After it was fixed and they moved it around it came back and is now only about 2 to 3 inches long.

Thanks for the heads up. Guess I better check mine when I head up to the camper today. I didn't notice anything when I washed it last time.
