Sabre slide Outs both have sliders coming off!

On both of the 2 large slidouts the material that they slide on is coming off. Will retract one more time and off to the repair shop.
Has any had this problem. Appears to be a factory defect. it appears that both slideouts need to be removed from trailer to install new material that they slide on.

This happened a bunch a while back. Hopefully someone that had it happens chimes in. But yes, this isn't uncommon on Sabres.

Yes my previous Sabre 34tbok did it on two slides. I got it back in place and added screws till I could get it in for warranty and fixed right. Basically the factory holes in the poly piece were too large and the screw heads pulled thru.

We had same problem with our 2013 Sabre. Took it back to factory and they repaired it free with no hassle. Talk to Carey Jones at (574) 642-3079. He and his crew were very accommodating .

Had these fall off my 2012 Flagstaff 831fkbs. The slide actually scored or dug into the vinyl flooring. Takesd to FR and they advised to replace the item before more damage occurred. Pieces are held in by a couple of screws and are easy to replace, when the slide is extended. Ours fell out, so I added a couple of strips of to the floor where the slide came in. Solved the scoring issue and slide seemed to retract easier.

I will not go back to the dealer that I bought it from. To small of an operation to repair much. Its at a big shop now and parts are ordered. The slides need to be taken out. I had to get an extended warranty from Good Sam since the trailer is so poorly designed and constructed. It is covered. I'm amazed and all the issues that I've had with this trailer. The hubs are being serviced for the 1st time and there were 2 issues with the brakes that were assembled wrong from the factory, one was wired wrong and was not operating at all and the other was a part was "missing". When I pick it up I'll get the full story. Just waiting for the next design, assembly problem to appear.

Lots of workmanship issues with that year Sabre. Sabre is no longer being made by Palomino from what I hear.

Yes, we had same problem with our 2013 ckts - done 1st time by dealer and then had to be redone by sabre factory. Slides do have to come out to do job properly. No problems there since.

Had the service tech. Out to look at my problem. He showed me exactly what was wrong and explaned how to fix it. It seems that the counter sink holes in the nylon slide bar break out allowing it to move in or out causing the problem. The slide bar has to be replaced. To do that the slide needs to be extended beyond it. This requires removing the trim around interior of the slide. About a four hour job at the dealership. He was able to reposition the slide bar and put in a few screws as a temporary solution.
I also talked to the warranty department at Sabre who gave me a slightly different fix. They will address this problem with me at the International Rally next month.
