Sabre theater seating question
I'm looking at a 32RCTS. It's listed as having available these two options:
- Latte Leather Theater Seating
- Steerhide Leather Theater Seating
But I can find no photo's of units equipped with either, to see what they look like. Nor does the Sabre brochure have photo's.
Would someone be able to help me with this?
Thanks.

The wife and I have been looking for almost 6 months. We decided on the 32RCTS-6 because of what it offered concerning the open floor space. We decided to get the movable island vice the fixed island in the event our children (one out of the house the other a Sr in HS) decide they want to go with us. If they do, they can sleep on the floor on an air mattress. We both liked the CKTS in the 31 and 33. Both had the theatre seating option that we both liked. I haven't seen any photos of those seats in the RCTS, but I think you could do it if you special ordered the unit. You'd either have to give up the love seat, or recliners I think.

Yes, it's a factory option; I'm simply trying to find a photo of them, to see what the difference in colors is. In other words, what color is Latte & Steerhide.

Try and find pics of the 31CKTS and 33CKTS, I think the theatre seating is standard on them. Latte is a light cream color, steerhide is a dark brown. I ask this question to a factory rep at an RV show. He told me if I wanted to see the steerhide color, take a walk over to a Columbus and look at the theatre seats in it. So I did.

Is the theater seating leather or leatherette? The options list description only says 'theater seating'.

The two strings I had in my post were pasted directly from the dealers site; it says leather. I'd assume & hope they are not trying to misrepresent what it is.

They would never do that. Misrepresent? Oh no never.
I'd make sure.

Dear Customer
I will try to help out here.....the answer will be long,
We offer several decors: Mocha, Chestnut, Cocoa, Pesto and Graystone.
The Graystone decor comes standard with a Leather/ Vinyl sofa (Steerhide color). The "Steerhide" theater seat matches that decor...... I'm aware that American RV in Grand Rapids MI has this combination in a Sabre 33CKTS in stock..you might might be able to view it on their website
The Latte is a neutral tan/brown we recommend with all the other decors.
I hope this helps.

SabreSam...does that mean the theater seat is also leather/vinyl (not quite sure what that is)?

Theater Seating
Dear Members,
the theater seating in the current Sabre production is Faux Leather. Our brochure states "Reclining Home Theater Seating". I apologize for any problems this has caused. We will issue communication to the dealers that have it listed as "Leather" on their websites.

Ouch! That's a big difference, and explains why the Lay-Z-Boy Leather Recliners are more than the theater seating.
And yes, every dealer I've checked states real leather.

Dear Treaves,
I understand your concern and apologies for the confusion... But keep in mind that most "leather" recliners sold out there are also constructed with a good portion of the material being vinyl. Again...I'm sorry if this feature has an impact on your buying decision .
