Pher.... The tow went great! I bought from a dealer 3hrs away from me and pulled it home on a 20mph windy day. Caught a little crosswind a few times and got nervous but for most of the drive it was not bad. My truck is a loaner from my company and I had to put a brake controller in it. (so no built sway control from the truck). My new truck is being built and is also a company truck so it will only be a 5.0L and I'm hoping it has the built in brake controller. If not, i'll put the factory one in.

I'll be just about maxed on weight with a 5.0L and wont ever pull it with full tanks. The equalizer hitch is really great. I had the Fastway E2 with my other TT and it was decent too. The equalizer is a lot beefier though.
