Securing TV for Travel

I have a 2012 Palomino Sabre 32RCTS-6 and am concerned about the living room TV during travel. It's a 32" Toshiba LCD that came with the 5th wheel. It does not have any straps installed (like I've seen in other models) for securing it while traveling. I asked the dealer about this and he said that's the way it comes from the factory and securing it is not needed. I have taken several trips and have not had any problems yet, but it does vibrate and move around on it's own from side to side. Can those of you with this model confirm the need for any securing of the TV and where the straps are attached? I've installed a 24" TV on the bedroom wall and also plan to secure it somehow.

Thanks

I have the same model, don't strap mine and it travels fine...IMO, wouldn't worry about it.

The bedroom TV, we always take off wall and place face down on the bed during travel.

My "know it all" mother-in-law told me that it wasn't good for TVs to travel laying flat. I looked it up and turns out she's right. That said- it seems like a bigger issue with just larger TVs.

I have the same TV/mount on my Sabre- I haven't had any issues in my 7 months of ownership and 4,500 miles of towing this far.
