Septic issues

We have a septic smell in the closet with the laundry hookups. The cap is on the drain pipe for the washer. The past two camping trips have resulted with the toilet plugging, even after draining the black tank. We use the tank flush but it does not help. I followed the tank flush line and it goes up towards the shower rather than towards the tank. Our last trip we also had water running out of the front belly area as i lifted the trailer to hook it up. Any info will help. Its scheduled for servicing, but not for a few weeks. Thanks

There should be a vacuum break behind the shower controls. A lot of people have reported the connections were loose resulting with water getting into the belly of the unit. To gain access you need to loosen the shower controls. Don't forget to recaulk when reattaching the controls.

Thanks, that may be the problem. I think the water came from when I was flushing the black tank. We had plugging issues and I was using the flush a lot to try to clean it out. We are taking it in to the dealer this week to get it checked out plus some other issues we found on our cross country trip. Thanks again for the info.
