Set up at Disney Fort Wilderness
All set up for the first trip out for the year at Disney Fort Wilderness. It started out a little wet and rainy but now the weather is perfect.
Have found a little issue with my front gray tank. When it gets full it leaks somewhere. The tank has to be full enough that it's about coming back up into the shower. Then Outside its running down the handle you pull to drain it.
The supply line for the hot water on my outside kitchen was leaking as well. That was a quick fix by just tightening the fitting. So far so good. I guess!

My guess on the leak would be at the shower drain trap. Might be a pain but you should be able to remove a panel in the basement to reveal the trap. Wish we were camping this year, condo at the beach instead.

Wow-WHAT fun! Hope to do the same again, this time with the Grandkids, down the pike.
One of the BEST vacations we took about 20 yrs. ago with our middle-school daughters was with our (then) Airstream to the same area with moats on either side, to boot. Took a shot-in-the-dark right before Xmas break and with tongue in cheek called reservations down in Orlando. Of course, the lady on the phone kinda laughed and said..."no, we're full-up, sorry"...but then there was a very pregnant pause and she
came back with..."do you still want three-days down here!?" . Evidently someone had just cancelled and I said..."H#ll YES!". We hooked up around mid-December, do note (no snow yet in Dayton), finger's crossed, and made it down in two days. My Mom made it up from WPB and we had a grand time each day... even celebrated Christmas early with a lighted tree inside the unit. Enjoy the park and festivities there and may the force be with you insofar as the "leak"! -PB

Yo Pirate, was just there in FEB. Heading back down in June for two weeks. Love the place nice and clean, level sites, free bus rides etc etc. Try to get down two or three times a year. Lots of nice folks down there. Have a nice trip.

Nice vacation spot. I always wanted to camp down there. But living up in Boston, it is just too far to drive.
I will have to put this on the list when I retire. I can send pictures to the kids. hahahaha.
Vin.

I hate Disney. Some sites are very tight to back in to as they are crammed full around holidays.

We have done it quite a few times from Maryland. Going down I-95 makes it an decent 2-day drive. In fact, we are headed there for Memorial Day weekend for my wife and I to have a kid-less weekend at Disney!

We go to Disney twice a year. Usually just my wife and I in January on our way to Key West and then in July/August with our sons and grandchildren. Have been going there since 1984. Love Fort Wilderness!

We loved camping at ft wilderness. Yes it was tight getting in, but once in, we had plenty of room. Enjoy your trip pirate.

I agree with you Totally as some sites are ridiculous and it does get crammed at times. But I still like going there.

I agree with the sites being so tight. I went around Christmas time and had hell with my 5er 40'. NO pull-throughs. It all worked out fantastic after I finally got in.

I had no issues at all. We booked a premium site and I was able to back it right in easy as pie.

There's an app you can download call FW SITES. It has all the loops and sites listed and most have pictures of the sites. Check it out. It's real helpful.
