shower hose question

We have a 2010 Puma 25RS..The hose for the shower hand held is held captive by two wall brackets, so you can not actually take the hand held and actually hold it in your hand...It must remain in place like it was actually fixed to the wall ...Anyone know what the logic here is...??
thanks, Wolfie

Have to ask - have you tried to lift up the shower hand held to remove it from the holder? I didn't think my was a hand held at first but found it does come out of the holder after all. Of course there is limited movement with it but it does work but from above and not at a lower level like at home. Think of it as "Pointing and Aiming" rather than going directly to the point of interest.

You can unscrew the hose from the wand handle; fish it back through the loop fixture and reattach it to the wand. Use only your hand to do this as it will break the hose nut if over torqued.

I know exactly what you mean. The lower bracket for my shower head is just big enough for the hose to go through. When you remove the shower head from the upper bracket it will not fit through the lower bracket. I took the head off and bypassed the lower bracket. It's been like this for a couple years now... the shower head is actually useable now! Not sure why it was that way originally... The wicked shower pressure? NOT!

happy camping,
