Single or duel air in Sabre 36qbok?

Does it best serve me to add the second air now before summer? What temp should I expect with just the single 15 I have now?

We have the dual A/Cs and I couldn't imagine being without. But, I don't know what the temperature (or worse-humidity) cut-off would be for when I feel like the 2nd one is required.

We have dual A/Cs on our 365saq (same basic layout), and while we don't use it all the time, one time without it, is all it takes. We spent a weekend with 95+ degree temps and high humidity, and the 15k wouldn't handle it. The following weekend I added the 2nd 13k A/C and was pleased. This was also in OH, so it's not just a "southern" thing.

Even if you don't need to run two its so nice to run the air in the room you are not in just for the noise. When sleeping we run the living room air and use a small fan. Reverse when we are up. When it gets hit then you have both. Go for it and get the 15000 BTU. I wish I had them instead of the 13500. Also if your thermostat will run dual HP I would opt for that also.

Definitely the right move. OK gets as hot and sticky in most of the state as Houston, maybe warmer! The dual AC units will keep you comfortable in the summer.

Good choice, you won't regret it. We alternate the use of ours. When we are sleeping, the living room A/C is what we use. This is because of noise. The bedroom puts out some cold air and when it cuts on and off, it's rather noisy. So we just run the living room at night and the bedroom in the day since they are all ducted together. Sometimes down here in SC, we need them both on during the day just because of the humidity.

One 15k wasn't enough in our 34' puma in the summer, I was fixing to add a second one, but the storms came thru and totaled it just before I spent the money doing it! Got lucky!

I upgraded to the 15k in the main part of the unit and got the 13k in the front bedroom.
