Slide floor

I have a 2012 sabre an the slide floor is weak. But what really concerns me is carpet was put down on top of raw plywood an at the edge of slide were the carpet hangs over a couple of inches the plywood is about to wear through the carpet the plywood has a sharp edge. Does anyone else have this problem the carpet can't last much longer. It is the dinning an couch slide
