Slide Out Floors

Received our 2013 Sabre 32 RLTS travel trailer and we are wondering how flush the sofa/dinette floor should be ? Seems like ours has quite a bit of a lip on it, you cannot see it because the carpet covers it, but you can feel it when you step on it in your stocking feet.

I don't know about your trailer and hopefully some Sabre owners will chime in. The lip on mine is 5/8" when the slide is out and 2" when the slide is in, which is normal for my unit.

I have the 31RLDS and there is a slight lip, about 1/2 inch or so +/-.

What I am trying to figure out is how/where should the recliners and the table/chairs get strapped. Is there a right and wrong configuration?

Ok thanx for the replies, We have the 4 chair dinette and we do not want to break any of the floor off, when using the chairs. I quess we will just stradle the lip.

That's what we were thinking, too.
