Slide question

Just got home from a two month jog up the west coast into Washington and back to Arizona. It was a great trip. Not to much wrong with the rig. Tires and tire ware are something I need to look into but my real issue was with my bedroom slide.

Each time I try to close it (after it has been open for a few days) I push the "IN" button and I hear what might be one tooth on the gear before it quits and wont come in or go out. I wait a minute or two and it works fine. Sort of always winced when I was tearing down wondering if I could get it closed. Does anyone know if there is a relay or reset on the motor or anything that might cause this. I thought I might have a lose wire which I plan on checking but the fact that if I wait just a bit and it works has me stumped. This is not a cable slide.

Thanks
