Any experience. I called my dealer, RV wholesalers, and one of their service guys just said to add more screws between or near the old ones.

Same thing happened to my Sabre 33 ckts curb side slide. The dealer fixed it under warranty. They told me it was a bigger job than they thought it would be. Had to move the slide out further than normal. What ever that means. From what I've read this is very important to get fixed ASAP.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm planning to take my Sabre in sometime soon, but was hoping to get thru the main season, which for us is thru October hopefully. Maybe I better get it in sooner. I'll see what I can do to get it re-attached this evening I hope. We plan to camp each weekend this month, with a four night trip at the end of the month

I think I read somewhere on this forum not to use the slide without fixing this problem. Damage could occur to the slide or main floor.

I think it was SabreSam who indicated that.

A dealer can do the repair in a day. Bringing the slideout in and out can cause damage to the floor which would be a much larger repair to fix.

Here are pictures if the piece after it became loose, showing the screw pulled thru with some remaining plastic, and my temporary fix of moving the screw over
