new puma 230fbs. It looks as though the slide is not adjusted correctly. I sit normal for there to be a slight varience from top to bottom and side to side?

Slight variation top to bottom, side to side okay as long as the slide gasket is fully contacted whether the slide is in or out.

The slide itself is a square box that pretty much stays in square. However, depending on how you have it leveled, the frame of your camper can be flexed, which in turn can take the hole the slide fits in. As pointed out, as long as it seals, you are ok. However, I'd still be looking into why the wall is out of square.

when its closed, it is tighter on the top than the bottom. when its opened, there is more space between the trim and the wall on the left side. the frame is not cocked askew. al the seals are in contact
