[emoji22] Our baby has to go away for a month or so.

We took it in to have a lift kit installed and the awning fixed. The lift, a recall by Palomino due to clearance issues apparently had already been installed at the factory, but was determined not to be high enough. Come to find out, the wrong axles had been installed. So it has to go back to Indiana for the proper axles.

The awning was just a matter of too much tension, requiring 3 people to retract it.

We love this camper.

We're hoping Palomino will let us use it for 1 more trip Halloween weekend. Then they can have it for the whole winter if they want. But there is a concern of being overloaded, so if they say no, [emoji37] I'll just have to put all my decorations away until next year.

Look on the bright side you miss one outing but ensure there will be many more when it fixed.

Mine is still in Indiana. Coming up on 2 months. As long as it's back by March, we're good. There is a nice, new concrete parking pad awaiting when it gets back.

Our 2017 TT was purchased on July 2017 but we never were noticed of a recall for lift kit. How do we determine if we need to contact Palomino?

The dealer told us about it when we first picked it up. I would call the dealer and ask them. If a sales person did your walk-thru, they probably didn't know. We had a technician do our walk and he told us.
