Solaire campers
My wife and I went camping last may in a pop-up. I have camped all my life and love camping. She had camped a lot too. Any way while we was there we was talking about bow we liked it and our pop-up. Was to small and didn't meet our needs. So you know what happened next. We started look and found a solaire 267bhsk. We fell in love. We did get it till the last week of August. So we got a few weekends in before camping season was over. Said all that to ask this question. We live in southern wv. The solaire camper at the dealer was the only one we have seen. Never seen another one at any camp ground or on the road. Are they not popular or just a new line or what? I mean when we pull in to a camp ground people come and ask questions and want to see it. Just wander are they more popular out west or what lol

We have the same camper and we are in southern ms, ours is a 2012 model and we go locally about every three to four weeks. With our weather can go somewhere year round, barring hurricanes of course.

They are newer. We are about to start our third season in ours and have some friends with a different model.
I have had good luck so far and get compliments all the time.

I find again the same attention. The Solaire front panel is very distinct vs other RV,s in the industry, so walking the campground the front is likely what draws people to the unit. Then the floor plan, we have a pull out kitchen and island (the "d" in the initials ). That is an interior attention getter when you go inside.
I like the Bed Liner material on the front.
So far last year camped did many nights camping with no issues so far. Will open it up from storage shortly and confirm the harsh MI weather didn't have an effect and will post.

I've had people come and feel the front of my camper asking questions. Very attractive.

We have a 2013 269BHDSK Eclipse and we will be heading into our 3rd season with it. We love it. Great layout and build quality. Like everyone else we get people coming over to see it whether we are at the campground or a highway rest stop.
Palomino has done a good job with a unique look in a crowded market place. We were just at Canada's largest RV Show in Toronto a few weeks ago and there was a huge display of different Solaire product, probably the busiest booth at the show.
We have found the eclipse model to be very aerodynamic.....last year we did a trip to southern Ontario and saved a $100.00 in fuel there and back versus the same trip with a 23 foot Shamrock Hybrid Travel Trailer which was 2000 pounds lighter then the 32 ft. Solaire....... aerodynamics makes a huge difference!

We got a 267bhdsk last fall - 2013 model that they were ready to deal on. Camped in it a few times before the season was over. We love it so far. On one of our fall trips we went to a nearby state park and there were a total of 3 267 bhdsk units there. One had eclipse package. Couldn't believe it! Didn't see one the rest of the fall. Place we got ours is a large dealer close to that park, and all 3 units were bought from there.
Good luck with your unit - hope it works for you as well as ours has for us.

My wife and I have had our solaire since the last week of Aug. 2014. We ordered it the last of May. And this weekend while we was in natural bridge va. We passed the 1st one we have ever seen on the road. Only other one we have even seen was at the dealership lol. We just looked at each other and smiled.

That reminds me of our first trip that we took locally when we bought ours...
We got the kids out on their bikes and my daughter was a bit timid of riding around by themselves. I encouraged her to go with her little brother and stick together. About ten minutes later I hear over the walkie-talkie, "Dad, we found our camper but you're not there!". I asked her to stay where she was and started walking and one row over was another SolAire. It was pretty funny

Well just to update we ordered our 2015 solaire last may and to this day we have only seen one on the road. We drove from West Virginia to Myrtle Beach travel park and never seen one. The only one we have seen was in April at natural bridge VA.

Purchased one week ago took first trip this past weekend I have one question about the grey tanks I dumped the grey and black tank, panel then showed grey tank 2 had 2/3 full the only way to empty it was to open the black tank valve and then the small silver valve is this normal I have regular black tank handle and grey tank handle with one smaller recessed silver handle that only empties when I have the black tank open does anyone else have this type set up

I have the same thing. One gray goes out when I pull and the other has a black handle that is in front of both the black tank lever and another gray.
I am setting up for the weekend so I am lucky to have it home for a picture. Basically, gray 1 and black will not "go" if the main is not pulled. Make sense?

I have the same. If you have an outside sink it has a separate tank that feeds to the black outlet. This I the small metal valve. I purge the Black, then Galley, then my grey tank. Not sure if order is correct but cleans all out.
