Also, drain your water heater as it can be the source of smelly water.

I had the Sour Smell from hot water only... I learned to empty the Hotwater tank between trips... Smell was gone after a good bleaching..

Had the same thing recently. Started out sour until the water ran through the lines. Found out it was my water filter. Removed it and problem solved. I have not replaced it yet. One more trip left the first week of Nov if the weather cooperates. I am considering using an exterior filter vs the whole coach filter.

Good thought...I was thinking about trying a filter at the water connection and the full coach filter.. But was wondering if it would bother the water pressure..

The family we travel/rv with have a Heartland Landmak, a high end coach. It did not come with a whole coach filter. It comes with one that attaches externally. Gotta think thete is something to this if the high end guys are going to it. My buddy says he can not tell a difference in the water quality and its a heck of alot easier to change out. Food for thought

Now that the issue has been resolved, I'm still trying to figure out why the sour smell mostly came from the bathroom sink... Closest to the water heater or the Filter.. Who knows..just trying to rationalize it.

Bacteria in the water heater smells like sulfur. It is not harmful but man does it stink. Easy to sanitise.

Yes it does.. But we turned on both the kitchen and bathroom faucets.. And it seemed to be worse in the bathroom.. But the rear kitchen is about twenty feet further down line..
Don't want it to happen again..

Live and learn.
😄

Could be from water sitting in the washer lines. If you don't have a washer but have the hookup, water just sits in the lines and usually smells really bad at the nearest faucet. Flushing out the lines is really easy. Jose attached to the valve and the other end in the drain. Run the water a minute or so, flushed.
