Thanks for your reply. I have a removable cord drop cover in the bottom of the storage bin for the attached power cord. I would just run the extension cord through this hole. Wasn't sure if the surge protector would get too warm or hot even to be closed up inside a storage bin. I'll probably go with the cable lock idea, but was just curious if the other was a viable option. Thanks again.
