Things Turning Around?
On our first trip since our shake down in August and my dealer who had to fix 35 items on my punch list. My dealer did a great job but I will write that up later. So far the only item he thought he fixed but didn't is that my Grey 2 tank always reads "zero". All this said last night I wanted to try to stream SiriusXM internet radio via Bluetooth over to my Genesis. I settled in for a long session but guess what, in about five minutes I was up and running . Not only that but the park I am in charges for WIFI so I was able to do all this using my Mobile Phone as a Hotspot. Streamed music for an hour, really cool. Raining today so I think I will try to pair my phone to the Genesis. Not that I really want to be able to do that but it's fun and I learn a lot on the way.
Thanks fort listening

Be interested to know how it works out, I experienced severe interference pairing my iPhone or iPad to my Genesis 3.0 when plugged into shore power, I was in contact with Bob Fields, who was on this forum representing Concertone but he is no longer with them, he did pm me and tell me to contact customer service after he left, their reply was Return To Selling Dealer For Resolution, I also paired it at my storage area one day just to see and it worked great which tells me it does work, it would be super cool to run it Bluetooth but not worth the hassle of taking it back to the dealer to get it resolved unless I had other issues so I ran a RCA x 3.5mm jack cable from behind the stereo through the grommet and plug in direct for now.

pjones - that sucks. My Bluetooth hookup from an iPhone, iPad and iPod has worked incredibly well for me. I wonder what could be interfering. I know others have talked about LED lighting being problematic for TVs and other stuff. Any chance that's related?

That's why I love my good ole unlimited data plan. Sure, paying full price or buying used gets old, but I use about 100g/month so it'd be kinda spendy otherwise.

Not sure, the tvs were off, I turned off the OTA booster to check against that, only LEDs I have are on the awning and they were off as well. Bob said he has never had that complaint, I was hoping he would send me a new one and want me to pull it and send it in so they could check it out....... No such luck.

I set usage alarms for my hot spot. If you don't watch videos and just do e-mails and surf the net, 2 gigs is a good deal of data. Now I pay every month for 2 gigs but of course only use it when on the road. And as stated, "sweet to have" going over the 2 gig is only $10.00 a gig so not too bad for what you get. The unlimited plan is indeed great if you got grandfathered in.

That's why I keep my antique Palm Pilot, it has unlimited data hotspot which was an advertising gimmick a few yrs back. Verizon doesn't offer it any longer. I bought 4 more Pilots to have when one bites the dust which happened last year. Just got the new one out, recharged it and called Verizon and they activated it.

Not me, jtstromsburg uses 100g/month. I only use the Palm Pilot hot spot when traveling. Have Windstream wireless at home.

Yup. Guilty. I Stream movies, have Pandora internet radio on most of the time, and of course, lots of time on here.
I actually do lots with my Droid. I'm the director of maintenance for our local school district. Emails, and lots of logging into my desktop via my phone.
