The GVWR of this rig is 13,890 and the rig has 6,000 lb axles so that does not compute for me. 7,000 lb axles are a $856.00 option. Is there any cause for concern regarding the Axles?
In my unscientific opinion - I'd opt for the upgraded axles, even if you aren't carrying the extra weight. I'd rather have beefier parts carrying the stuff than less beefy parts. Not that there's anything wrong with the 6k axles. It's cheap to add now - I see little to no reason not to do it. (I've been wrong before, though!)

Thanks
Our unit was purchased Sept of last year...this is what came on it:

Westlake Super ST235/80R16

Load Range E

Cold PSI 80lbs

Max Load Per Tire: 3520lbs

So far these tires are doing great, best camper tires I've gotten when buying a new rig...hope this helps!

Davidcedar,
I found out from a very reliable source that the 7k axles are NOT an option for the 32 rcts.
You cannot even order them to be put on.
The 36qbok and anyother 36 models are the only ones to get that option.
Your dealer is mistaken that they can be ordered as an option.

^^^ the order form that I last saw said that the 7k axles can only be ordered on specific models. But I don't know which it says.

The 36qbok is the only model that the 7k axles can be ordered for.
