Byron,
I am glad you had a great experience your first time out. My wife and I did too in ours and we had a few minor issues like you. We did realize that it is not our old camper and we have yo do a few things different, but we love our 295RL. I all ready have 7 weekends booked for the summer looking to double that at least.

Yeah, like I said before, all the issues were minor and nothing that takes away from the experience in the RV.

I am also looking at future trips. I just need to get the wife to commit to some days on the calendar. I might just have to get myself in trouble so I have to spend time in the RV

Luckily, my wife does not commit, she told me just let her know when she needs to take off work, as she loves to camp as well, we have a couple of friends that have campers as well so we try to coordinate camping with them as well.

I have been working on getting my wife to be like that but she just started a new job with the state and the first 6 months is no time off during trial period. So we are trying to monopolize on 3 day weekends and such till June. I forsee a few weekend trips to the coast until june.

I have been working on trying to find more friends that want to do the camping thing, but unfortunately most of my friends do not own trailers / RV's. It is always a bit more fun to go out with others.

The wife was talking about Mid Feb for our next venture out, so I will keep ya posted. It will be a good test to see if my bedroom sliding door holds up too.
