TV doesn't play surround sound in new 365RL

I just got home Saturday with my new 365RL.
I cannot get my TV sound on my Surrond Sound System.
I can listen to the FM Music on the surrond sound and listen to the sound on the tv but not through the surriond sound, Thje receiver is a Sony.

Is there a connection between the TV and the Sony receiver? Audio out of the TV to an AUX input on the Sony?. Usually there will be a red & white RCA type cable from the TV to the Sony. A better solution is an optical audio cable. You will need to select the input on the Sony that the TV is hooked up to.

Our walk thru guy told us it only plays with the DVD player. Didn't sound right, but what do I know?

My big problem is the outside radio won't work. I don't know why but this REALLY torques me. LOL Call me unreasonably irrational.

Your PDI guy was correct. Your TV is not set up from the factory to play through your surround sound. You need a couple of cables to hook them together. Somewhere on here or the Columbus Facebook pages are the instructions on how to do it.

Check the wiring between the tv, radio and sound bar. My 2013 Cedar Creek was hooked up wrong. Radio played in and out at the same time. Go to audio menu and adjust the fader control. Remember the electronics are also installed by Amish workers..
