TV mounting help

We just purchased a Palomini 180FB. It is prewired for a TV on the wall that separates the dinette from the bathroom. There is no template on the wall there. Is this a suitable place to mount a TV? Where have y'all mounted yours???

TIA for the replies.

I don't know your unit, but I have only mounted TV's where there was the sticker for "mount tv here"
If you don't have that, make sure you get a stud finder and screw the mounts into a stud, otherwise your wall will pull away from the weight of the tv

We have a 180 FB. I could only find one place that was solid. It was only big enough to get one screw in. I put a screw there and used toggle bolts for the other three mounting holes. We have a small 15 inch TV and I take it down before we travel.

Based on the pictures I've seen I would expect a backer plate just below the electrical/connection boxes on the wall. It would be below the middle box. You should be able to find it with a stud finder. You can also call Palomino and ask for the service manager and he should be able to help you locate it. He used to work in the AM only so I would try before noon.

thanx yall. I've called Forest River a couple times, left message. No response from them. Sounds like I won't be mounting my TV. Not gonna take a chance to hit the wiring in the wall and/or miss backing plate.
