Washer dryer combo

Any experience with a washer dryer combo? Looking at them over the winter wanted to see what members on here had for experience.

We have the Splendide washer/dryer combo in our 2014 Silverback 33RL and we have had no issues to cause us to regret getting it...obvious, you cannot wash large loads but we knew that from the beginning so we adjust.....also, we've learned to stop after the wash cycle, take the clothes out and shake them good and then return them for the dry cycle......these are not short cycles but again we knew this...bottomline....we are proud to have it when we are out on the road for a few days.....certainly helps the DW stay ahead of the game when we arrive home from a trip.

I'm saving for the Splendide combo myself for the same reason to cut down on unload/prep time for next trip.
Jtownstump is it ventless or you had to cut a hole for a vent? I have the wash hook up but no vent hole for dryer vent. Guess I'd need to cut hole for the drier vent. Just wondering. Thanks

We have toyed with the thought of a vented version when we buy a new RV someday. You could also use a standard sewer fitting and just cap it as well. Water tight just like the stink slinky.

We use a vented Splendide model and we are very happy with the performance. Yes it is a smaller load but it sure beats a laundromat.

Our unit had to be vented....It was installed be our dealer before we did our PDI.....the vent was cut in the front cap on street side.

We also have the Splendide Model WD2100XC Vented model in our 5th wheel and we love it. It was installed by our dealer and they did a great job with the vent. The unit works great and as stated earlier you just have to realize that you must wash/dry smaller loads. But no more Laundry mats for us. Yea......

Pinnacle washer/dryer vented combo here in our fiver. Very happy to have it, use it to do sheets etc. prior to heading home after the weekend. It's nice to not have to take laundry home to do. Get one and enjoy!!

Yes to the Splendide combo. We have the vented model. Three years and would not do without it.

We have a vented Spendide 2100XC combo in our 2013 Sierra 3768 BHOK. Today is the first time trying to use it (we just moved in a day ago) and it's not turing on. DH checked power and RV fuses. All good. Water is turned on. Unit still won't turn on. Any other suggestions on what to check?

Wanted to give an update in case anyone needs to know. My hubby called Speldide, just like everyone said and they gave him some basic guidance and things to check. He was checking all the wires/connections to double check that everything was connected properly and one wire in the back on the very bottom was unplugged. He had to point his phone camera down there just to see where it should it go and it was a connection to the solenoid. He plugged it back in and everything worked! I'm on my third load and it works great!!

It's so good to hear positive stories about these combo units. In years past, there were only horror stories of break-downs, propane over-use, clothes coming out wrinkled and STILL wet after hours of being on the dryer cycle. I'm assuming that these products have vastly improved....? How much weight is the unit adding to your 5th wheel? I know I could research the specs, but I would prefer to hear from my experienced RV forum friends!
Thanks!
Blessings and best wishes to all the campers
