We put a ventless combo in ours and it works great. Three considerations, 1) it uses a lot of water, so we only use it if we have a sewer connection and city water. 2) it isn't fast. We always plan on it taking 3-4 hours to wash then dry a load. 3) small loads. Don't overload it, from what I understand it will just mean that the load takes 5-7 hours, doesn't completely dry and comes out very wrinkled.
A normal load for us is 3 bath towels, 1-3 hand towels and some washcloths. If clothes then 1-2 pants and some la couple shirts at most. We just figure start a load in the morning, go do what we were going to do anyway, come back start another load and go do what we were going to do anyway. At the end of the day you still don't have very much laundry to sort and put away. Mostly it allows us not to have as much laundry to do when we get back home.
