We have a Columbus 320 and the day after we came home from our last trip we noticed a slow drip of water coming from underbelly. Noticed that there was a small hole in it and that is why we even noticed it so we dropped the underbelly. Insulation was wet under fresh water tank area. Pulled it all out and let the underneath dry out. Next day nothing was wet so we are searching for reason. Checked all plumbing in kitchen and bathroom all ok then filled galley tank let it sit a while dumped it no leaks. Now filled fresh water tank and cannot find a leak. Any suggestions as where to look? The only thing I noticed was where the over flow tube and the fill tube to the fresh water tank are that type of caulking is a beige color and when I ran my finger around them it came off my finger the consisting of toothpaste. Don't know if that is what that caulking is like but I don 't see it on any other spot where a tube goes into a tank. Jeane
Have you removed BOTH access panels in the basement. One exposes the back of the connections closet. Remove the other to inspect the water pump, water heater, and ... connections. Leaks in this area go into the belly.
We have not checked those two yet. We sanitized water and not a drip anywhere. We did drive in very little rain. It did rain a lot while we were at cg and we noticed that rubber was turned in about halfway up kitchen slideout no water inside but wondered if it could have run down onto frame and underneath. If we can't find anything tomorrow we will replace insulation and but belly back on. Then if it happens again will take to dealer to find it. Thanks for your suggestion. Jeane
