2 weeks from start of production to dealer delivery?
Not to rain on your parade, but that is highly unlikely

Is possible. I was given several dates.

When I first ordered I was told 8 weeks and after about 6 weeks I was emailed an off-line date. Turns out he emailed me on the build date.

It was pretty much on time, but I had a slight delay getting the trailer delivered to the dealer - a shortage of drivers.

Slightly OT - but speaking of drivers - I wonder if that is a full time job or maybe an "on call as needed" position. Might be a good job if you want to tow/drive new RV's to the various dealers.

The suspense is killing me. What did you order?
Ps awhile back I spoke with someone who used to deliver rv's but he could not justify working for $5.00/hr so he sold me his brand new Reese signature hitch for a steel of a price

couple days to build, couple days to transport, a week for your dealer to get off his butt and actually prep your trailer for PDI - It could happen.

The drivers are either independent or they are dealership employees. A friend now picks up work driving to and from IN for a few local dealers. I think he really enjoys it and I'll guarantee he gets more than $5 per hour. As he explained it to me when I last so him at an RV show last February, its up to him to negotiate the contract including pay plus mileage.

BTW, he's my age (late 40's) and retired - comfortably so. He just likes to drive.
