I think they use the same wheels and tires on TT and FW models. Our TT's have had LR D tires, but both I have experience with came with Triangle brand tires. Have seen the Westlake tires used on newer models on dealer lots, though. I believe all LR D tires in 225/75-15 will be rated for 2540lbs. You will probably never be more than 8500 or so loaded if you are in the low 7K range unloaded, so I'd think you'll be fine as this calculates to approximately 16% under capacity. And this doesn't take into account pin weight, which will likely move you into a 30+% cushion. Many of the "light" 5er's that weigh what yours does are running C rated tires and will be maxed out when loaded- you have to subtract ALL pin weight to get under the tires rating.

Op. You might look around at online dealers yellow stickers, all of them I've seen, on 2014s had dry weight yellow stickers around 8200-8500 lb. I know pumas website shows a lower weight, maybe they had a typo or something OR that is with out the kitchen option.

Just an fyi if weight is a big issue.

The dry weight on the trailer at the lot was 8436lbs. That was a loaded out unit with the solid surface countertops, etc.

I guess my luck with tires has been good and bad. The good, I have never had one blow out (knocking on wood as I type). The bad, ever used trailer I have purchased has had tires that were 100 miles from death. Two of those trailers were only two years old. My thought was if the tires that come on it are crap, I will go straight to the tire shop, and trade them in on the tires I trust. At this point, I guess I will wait and see if I get the Westlakes, or something else.
