Econcapt ... What generator do you have that allows the power through the surge protector without any problems? I'm understanding from the responses that I need to make a "cheater plug" to use with my Hondas. Do I need two of them if I parallel the Hondas?

Do a search for "ground bond plug." FYI the use is controversial.

My Surge Guard #34560 works fine with my Powerhouse 3100 watt generator. Both lights, one for each power line, turn green as they are supposed to when everything is OK. It chatters a couple of times when I turn the a/c but any other load is good.
