Why the sunken floor in Palomini?

We are considering upgrading from a pop-up to light weight TT. I looked at a Palomini 131RL yesterday and liked the layout. However, just inside the entrance is a sunken floor about 4-6 inches deep. Why the sunken floor other than possibly providing more head room in the center of the TT?

Does anyone have an experience with this Model? Like it?

I'm not sure. But I think it may be to keep the roof lower. So you can park it in most garage's.
