Width of bunks on Puma 30KDB ?

Looking at the floor plan and pictures the bunks on the right side look really narrow.

This is the only think holding me back from buying this trailer.

Does anyone one this trailer ? Or know how wide the bunks are ?

Thanks,

Bean

The dealer is over an hour away. I don't want to make the drive if I don't have to.

If the width is 28" like some others I have seen, that is pretty much worthless for sleeping. Even my 9 year old son would probably fall out of something that narrow.

Got your pm. The side above kitchen is 38x74 the other side is 28x74. My 8 yr boy don't have an issue an of course neither does the 4 yr. Very nice and well built unit. They use good strong material in the puma line but the down side is the weight. Only thing we would change is moving the outside microwave up for more counter space which they did on the 2013 model.

cyclepuck,

Thanks much for the info.

Has anyone slept on the narrow bunks ? If so, how was it ? When I look at 28" on a tape measure it doesn't even seem wide enough to lay down on. I know they are for kids, but still.

My Sabre bunks are 30" and my in-laws each sleep on one with no issues.

We've had a couple friends stay in ours on an adult tubing trip and one of which is 6'1" and 220lbs and don't know how well he slept but he didn't complain which is saying something because if you knew he he complains about everything.

We have a 30kdb, I have 3 kids ages 10,12, and 15, they all sleep in the bunkhouse and enjoy the room, it's a great unit and you won't be disappointed!!
We slept over 50 nights in it last year!!
Only gripe.... The blinds are a bit cheap, but easy enough to upgrade!!
Buy it!!
