Wrinkles in rubber roof

I have a new 2013 Puma that I purchased 3 months ago. I notice that there are some small wrinkles in the rubber roof close to the front cap. Are theses a normal occurrence or do I need to schedule an appointment?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure pictures would help.

I had a wrinkle on my roof at the front cap, turns out the rubber roof wasn't installed correctly. They had to stretch the roof and tuck under the cap and reseat it

CypressNova - Did the dealer or FR indicate what the result of inattention to that wrinkle would have been? Was the roof likely to fail because of that installation issue? And do you know if the correction also necessitated using some sort of adhesive to hold it down?

David, pictures would help to answer your question.

Cypress-Good that they stretched it. Keep an eye on it. Wind getting under it can cause future problems.

Apparently there wasn't any gasket material under the metal strip that is screwed down to hold the cap and rubber roof in place and this allowed the edge of the metal strip to cut the rubber roof. I will keep an eye on it.

I will get some pictures this weekend. I have to take it in this winter for a couple of other things. I was just wondering if the roof was an issue. I will get in top and inspect the whole thing. Thanks for your input.
