A picture would be worth a thousand words.
Lets see what you are trying to remove.

Those look like regular 921 wedge bulbs. They should just pull out of the receptacle. There is no base on that bulb. The contacts are just wires that wrap back around the glass base.

So pull JUST the bulb, not any of the plastic behind the bulb.

Just like Rodeo says--just pull on the glass bulb until you pull the bulb out of the plastic socket. It's really quite easy. Have no fear. Also, like Rodeo states, these are 921 "wedge" bulbs when you are looking for the LED repacements.

I hold on to the square plastic socket with one hand while I pull on the bulb with one of the others...

Flexible LED Ribbon Strip Lights for Lighting Applications - UL Recognized

I just replaced all the lights in my '13 Coachmen Encounter 37TZ with LED lights from M4. I am very pleased with their quality and response time. They are very quick to mail after ordering. I think you will find all the solutions you need. They have brite White and Warm White and also the strip lights that you are asking about. They have many solutions to choose from. Most important is no polarity and variable DC level circuits, which makes for a simple, no worries, installation and operation.
