Question Not sure what they are called....

I recently purchased a 2009 Silverback 32RL but the dealer I bought it from did not know how to turn the front hitch or cap lights on. (Not sure what these are called). Can someone help point me in the right direction?

Are you referring to a scare lite ?? There should be a toggle switch on the bottom of the light.

not sure what they are called. On my last 5th wheel, there was a light at the king pin that had a switch. This 5th wheel has two LED lights built into the front cap but I can not find a switch and neither could the dealer....LOL.

My jack switch is in the side bin. There is a switch there that looks like a light switch and when I turn it on, nothing happens that I can tell.

Try checking to see if there's power at the switch.
if not you might have a blown fuse.
I am sure that that is the switch for your docking lights.
The switch could be bad too. Or the wiring up to the l e d lights.

I assume this is a fifth wheel? So the light under the overhang near the hitch is controlled by a switch on the light itself. Same for all of this type of lights on the outside. As for the two BIG round lights up high, they are called scare lights and there will be two switches inside on the control panel that turn them on/off.

If you mean the two lights that are on either side of the pin, the switch is
located in the driver side compartment at the mechanical section where your water hooks up and your sewer dump valve handles are. Look to the upper right side and you will see a switch labeled (I think) "docking lights".

My docking light switch is beside the front landing gear switch. There is a second light switch in same place labled front cap light but I it doesn't seem to do anything.

It's the switch that turns the lights that are mounted at the front cap on/0ff. They supposedly illuminate the front of the RV and the TV when hooking/unhooking at night.

If it is like my Silverback it is located in the hose/outside shower/valve area in the pass thru on drivers side. It is mounted kind of high toward rear side of trailer.
