I have my Reflectix between the glass & the shads,,, so to protect the shads !!!

I thought feeling the heat on the exterior of the glass 6 feet! was probably a typo, likely he meant 6 inches. He has a dozen typos. But also he says the interior will be 30-50 degrees cooler with his shades. If it's a 100 degrees outside it could be 50 inside? Anyway, my fears have been put to rest.

I have used it for years in the California heat.....no issues so far.

To prevent light from coming through, I laminate one side with aluminum foil.

Just spray both parts with 3M 77 and stick 'em together.

Yeah, I have a few spots where the foil seamed to be thin (a few light spots on the sheet) but much cooler and VERY dark none the less.
